Milk Oolong Chai

This tea is absolutely unique, subtle and fragrant . The oolong is creamy and tastes like dairy milk with a thick mouthfeel. But this tea blends other delicate spices in very small quantities to create an unusual tea. A hint of primarily ginger - in a fragrant, non spicy way with a suggestion of resinous, eucalyptus-like cardomom. When you swallow, you get a gentle warmth from the chilli. The scent is beautiful too, a subtle blend of ginger and cardomom. Very addictive, it's just as well you can rebrew a cup using the same leaves. I make mines with a teaspoon of tea because any less is not strong enough for me. I feel it's best without milk because milk would mask the delicate taste. If you sweeten it, I think young children would also find this a delicious starter chai.
