What is the ChariTEA of the Quarter all about?
When we set up Bird & Blend back in 2012, we knew we wanted to create a company that gave back to the world & the communities that we worked within. We are passionate about supporting causes that are close to our hearts, helping the people & environment around us, so our ChariTEA (did you see what we did there?) of the Quarter was born.
Supporting causes we love through tea seemed like the pretty perfect move for us!
Every three months, we choose a different charity to work with & support them through the profits of their chosen blend, along with campaigns that our fans & customers get involved in, too.
During this time, all of the profits that we make from the online sales of our ChariTEA blend go straight to that charity or cause. This Quarter, our ChariTEA the Choir with No Name has chosen Vicky's Sponge Cake tea.
Who are the Choir with No Name & how do they help?
Homelessness can be a deeply isolating experience. That’s why The Choir with No Name uses the power of music to build welcoming, supportive communities where people affected by homelessness can find a place to belong.
Founded on the simple premise that singing makes you feel good, their choirs offer a safe, uplifting space for anyone who has experienced homelessness or is going through a tough time.
Every week, their choirs provide members with:
A Safe Space to Sing: Weekly rehearsals that build confidence, boost mental wellbeing & unlock hidden talents.

Lasting Friendships: A reliable network of peers & volunteers offering genuine connection, friendship & ongoing support.

A Cuppa & a Hot Meal: Sitting down together after every rehearsal to catch up & share a hot, nutritious meal cooked by volunteers.
Singing together does more than just bring joy, it helps choir members rebuild their self-esteem & feel better equipped to tackle life’s other challenges, like securing housing or finding work.
The Choir with No Name believes that everyone going through a tough time deserves a place to sing their hearts out among friends & we couldn't agree more.
How Bird & Blend is supporting the Choir with No Name.
From October through December, we are donating 100% of profits from online sales of our Vicky's Sponge Cake Tea directly to The Choir with No Name.
Every pouch you buy helps fund choir communities across the UK. Providing people affected by homelessness with a welcoming space to belong, a supportive network of friends & a hot, nourishing meal every single week.
