    This is a classic ceremonial grade matcha, which is perfect for anything from traditional tea ceremonies to iced matcha lattes - what's not to love?

    Matcha is traditional ground Japanese green tea, having been consumed for centuries for its green goodness. We use the highest quality traditional ground Japanese matcha powder which has been shaded two weeks prior to harvest.

    How to make matcha 4 ways

    How to make a hot matcha

    • matcha spoon

      Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • mature 80 degree water temperature

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

    • matcha bamboo whisk

      Step 3

      Whisk in a 'W' shape until frothy

      Top up with hot water or milk

    How to make iced matcha

    • matcha spoon

      Step 1

      1/2 tsp

    • mature 80 degree water temperature

      Step 2

    Wrong Colour

    I don't know if I was sent the wrong batch as part of the Magical Matcha box but the pure grade is not bright green like the pictures at all! The other ones are but this one is dirty green, like the lower matcha grade used for cooking. Tastes also like cooking matcha. Expiration April 2025.
