Are you a Chai lover? Get ready to be blown away by our famous Sticky Chai! Our recipe, which was the first in the UK, is made in small batches, using freshly ground spices and wildflower honey. But how do you drink it at home? Well, we are going to show you how! Follow these 4 simple recipes below that can be applied to any of our Sticky Chai flavours to give you a delicious brew every time.
 

Recipe 1 - HOW TO MAKE A STICKY CHAI HOT TEA:

This is our go-to easy way to brew up a warming Sticky Chai on those days when you just need a hug! This delicious hot tea recipe can be used with any of our Sticky Chai flavours to create a sweet chai drink.

What you will need:

  • Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon
  • Chocolate powder

What to do:

  1. Add two heaped teaspoons of Sticky Chai into your cup of milk
  2. Heat your milk of choice on the stove or in the microwave until it’s nice and hot (approx 2 mins).
  3. Use your Loose Leaf Tea Infuser or sieve to strain your tea into your favourite mug.
  4. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon or chocolate (your choice!).
  5. Enjoy!

Recipe 2 - HOW TO MAKE A STICKY CHAI LATTE:

Take your warming Sticky Chai to the next level by brewing up a foamy Sticky Chai Latte.

What you will need:

  1. Add two heaped teaspoons of Sticky Chai into your cup of milk
  2. Heat your milk of choice on the stove or in the microwave until it’s nice and hot (approx 2 mins).
  3. Next take your Handheld Milk Foamer (or other milk frother) and foam your milk until it’s lovely and thick!
  4. Use your Loose Leaf Tea Infuser or sieve to strain your tea into your favourite mug, ensuring you get a nice big dollop of frothy milk on the top.
  5. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon or chocolate (your choice!).
  6. Enjoy!

Recipe 3 - HOW TO MAKE FESTIVAL STICKY CHAI:

Did you know that Bird & Blend started out over twelve years ago at market stalls & at festivals? Our Festival Chai is an absolutely iconic B&B recipe that has been loved since those early days, now extra sweet made with our Great Taste Award winning Sticky Chai.

What you will need:

What to do:

  1. Add two heaped teaspoons of Sticky Chai into your saucepan along with a mug full of your milk of choice.
  2. Turn the heat to low/medium and allow the chai to slowly infuse into the milk whilst stirring. This should take around 4 minutes once the milk is hot to create a creamy spiced chai.
  3. Next, take your Loose Leaf Tea Infuser and ladle your milky chai into your favourite mug, filtering it through your infuser.
  4. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon or chocolate (your choice!).
  5. Enjoy!

Recipe 4 - HOW TO MAKE ICED STICKY CHAI:

Sticky Chai is perfect for enjoying on warmer days, too! Its gently spiced flavour pairs wonderfully with cold milk for a cooling drink that is satisfyingly sweet too!

What you will need:

  1. Add 2 Perfect Tea Spoons of Sticky Chai to your Brewdini or strainer of your choice along with the 300ml of boiling water. Allow this to steep for four minutes.
  2. Once the Sticky Chai is fully brewed, allow it to cool. You can do this by popping it in the fridge or pouring it into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake, shake, shake!
  3. Add your cooled Sticky Chai to a glass with ice, and then fill the glass to the top with a cold milk of your choice.
  4. Make it mega by adding whipped cream! Sprinkle with nutmeg, cinnamon or a spice of your choice!
  5. Enjoy!
