From Day 1, our Co Founders Krisi & Mike had sustainability high up on their priority list - this hasn't changed since then.
We’re proud that we have always tried to keep people & planet at the forefront of our decision making as we’ve grown over the years. In fact, in 2022 we announced our certification as a B Corp! An exciting step in transparency & also showing that we are committed to using our business as a force for good.
We acknowledge that we aren’t perfect & that sustainability isn’t easy, it’s an ever evolving process and that’s why every year we publish our improvement goals for our community.
We want to share with you some of the actions we’re taking to make B&B more sustainable this year.

In 2024 we began our partnership with TreeApp to plant a tree for every takeaway drink sold in stores.🌳
WE ARE B CORP Certified
B Corp certification recognizes top-tier social & environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Driven by 10 years of ethical decision-making, we certified with a score of 90.1 in 2022 & improved to 99.7 in 2025. Which is well above the 80-point qualification threshold & the ordinary business average of 50.9. We look forward to continuing our positive impact & improving our score even further going forward.

Supporting Tea Communities at the Roots
Through our impact programme, we will aim to benefit the people & communities on the ground as much as possible, both at the tea gardens we source from & more broadly.
We believe that building relationships locally, seeking to understand the real challenges from those experiencing them & supporting structural gaps including governance, is the way to have the most impact.
Over 400,000 trees planted
Tea For Trees
We're proud to have planted hundreds of thousands of trees since we launched our Teas for Trees programme in 2019. Check out our blog to learn more.
Since 2024 we have been partnered with TreeApp to plant a tree for every takeaway drink sold. In Indonesia, we have focused on planting mangrove estuaries on the island of Lombok. These mangroves perform essential ecosystem services, including (but not limited to):
🌊 Coastal protection & erosion prevention.
🏚️ Providing habitats for diverse species.
🧑🤝🧑 Provide resources to local communities such as wood & fish.
