    How to make a hot matcha latte

    • Step 1

    FAQs

    How long does it take to make a matcha latte?

    The whisk programming settings are complete when the temperature (70°C) is reached, taking around 2 minutes if the lid is on.
    What is the capacity of the magic whisk?

    The Magic Whisk will hold a maximum of 250 ml of milk, you can use non-dairy alternatives, we recommend oat milk for the perfect creamy latte. Please do not use water.
    Why is the matcha whisk unique to other milk frothers?

    The specialised programming and our uniquely designed whisk & basket attachment ensures the matcha powder slowly filters through the whisk coils to create a silky smooth matcha latte. Make froth, not lumps! The Magic Whisk is designed to heat the milk to around 70°C, the perfect temperature to brew matcha without burning the powder for the best taste.
    How do I clean my magic whisk?

    To clean your Magic Whisk, first unplug it and detach the jug from the power base. It’s best to clean it immediately after each use. Next, rinse and clean the inside of the jug using warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth. Once cleaned, dry the jug thoroughly too. Avoid immersing the jug or power base in water.

    If you notice a milk layer at the bottom of the jug, soak it in warm, soapy water for a few hours, then wipe it off with a non-abrasive cloth.

    You can wash the whisk, basket, and lid in the dishwasher using a cycle below 40°C but keep in mind that the jug and power base should never be placed in the dishwasher.

    Actually magic

    I put off buying this for ages because I didn’t want another kitchen gadget, particularly one that only does one thing. But after my coffee machine broke and I couldn’t heat milk easily anymore I decided to treat myself.

    If only the coffee machine had broken sooner.

    The whisk is brilliant, I sprinkle in my matcha, leave it to run and I have a perfect drink with almost no effort. The unit it easy to clean so it doesn’t feel like any additional hassle to deal with it. The matcha is thoroughly blended every time, no grittiness, no lumps I accidentally missed, just smooth matcha at the perfect temperature.

    Honestly the best thing I’ve bought in ages and I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it even when I get my coffee machine back.

    Love it!

    If you drink matcha regularly I would recommend buying. It’s so easy to use and saves time in the morning. It makes a lovely hot matcha latte!
