    Deep, intense and comforting

"I have recently discovered chai tea and this is the best discovery yet. A deeply warming yet fresh flavour with a distinct “kick” from the chilli. The chocolate adds a smooth comforting twist to this wonderful mixture. Perfect for a spicy wake up brew or a smooth evening delight."

    Gorgeous Tea

"I was given a sample of this when I bought some other loose leaf in store - and it is my fav of all the ones I got that day. Have already gone back to buy some more. Really nice warming cup for an autumnal morning, lovely with or without some milk/oat milk Not overpoweringly chocolately/sweet but the cacao nibs give it just such a good flavour, and the warming spices are lovely"

    — Sarah (5/5)

    Favorite so far!

"Such a punch of a tea! This is my favorite morning cuppa. I'll still my trying the other ones Bird & Blend has to offer, but it's going to take some to beat the chilli goodness of this!"

    — Stacey L. (5/5)

    Amazing

"We love a good chai in our house and this was extra special with the dark chocolate. Such a lovely aroma too. In fact we have ordered more...."

    — gill w. (5/5)

    Chocolatey heaven

"Tried this tea as both hot latte and cold brew at our local taster session. It's definitely chocolatey but not as chilli as I'd hoped. I do like a kick. Really liked it though and picked some up to take home"

    — L. L. (5/5)

    Dark Chocolate Chilli Chai

"Years ago this was the very first B&B tea we tried and it’s still a real fave. This is not just a winter tea, it’s a spicy/sweet/velvety cup that has just a kick at the end that’s so nice. We have this as a permanent go to though being honest we have a dozen others lined up but there will always be a caddy full of chilli chai. Please try…. so nice!"

    — Shaun W. (5/5)

    Not the same anymore

"Don't like the new recipe the old one was far better so this is now off my favourite tea list sadly"

    — Glenn (3/5)

    Has a nice kick!

"Tea has a nice kick to it with the spices, perfect for cold weather"

    — Meryl (4/5)

    Very different to old recipe

"The recipe has changed very recently, making this a completely different brew. It’s still quite a nice cuppa but definitely does not have the kick it used to, the warming effect or the lovely blend of flavours. . The new black tea takes over and dominates all the other flavours of old, so it does taste like something completely different. I’m not sure I’ll buy again as I loved the uniqueness of the old recipe and this tastes like a standard chai teabag you could buy in a supermarket for a fraction of the price. You can add milk without it going a very pale colour, due to richness of the new black tea, I guess that makes it look better in the cup but that’s about it. Luckily I still had a bit left of the old recipe so I’ve mixed them together to try and enjoy the old recipe for a tiny bit more. On a slight positive note the new recipe isn’t bad, it’s just nothing special. What a shame."

    Love it!

"Rich flavour with spicy kick, my new favourite šŸ˜"

    Q&A

Can you brew this in hot milk instead of making as a tea with water and then adding milk?
Hi Kelly, Great question! You can brew it in your favourite milk, our favourites to use are oat or coconut milk :) Happy Sipping! Claire @ B&B
    calories?
Hello, The calorie content of all of our teas after the brewing process is lower than needs to be declared on a food label, even the blends with whole fruit pieces and candy hearts. None of our blends have any more than 1g sugar and many have only a trace. I hope that is useful. Andi @ B&B
