    Rooibos tea | Caffeine free

When we asked our Cardiff store TEAm to help us come up with their store's very own blend there was a resounding cry for a truly magical Welsh tea.

Now, surely the only thing better than a cup of tea, is a cwtch (Welsh for cosy/hug!) and a Welsh cake.

This blend's got all three! A cosy rooibos blend with sweet bakery notes, cinnamon spice and tangy fruit, just like a welshcake!

As one of our store blends 50% of all profits from sales of this blend will go to our Cardiff store's chosen chariTEA The Queer Emporium Foundation.

Each store has its own blend, designed to represent the people and the local area. Click here to learn more about our Cardiff store or check out the other store blends here!

We love this one simply brewed hot, but try adding frothy oat milk to enhance the cakey flavours.

    The OG

"The tea that first got me into Bird & Blend, love it so much. Reminds me of my Nain (Welsh for Nan) and there is no greater compliment!"

    Jasmin (5/5)

Needs more fruit but otherwise great

"If you’re looking for something that’s like Hot Cinnamon but without the heat, this is the pick. I think it would work better with more berries in it - in a 20g pack you don’t get many so there’s often a bit of faff at the kettle to make sure I get some fruit in each cup."

    P (4/5)

"Liked it, but can’t help feeling the blend would be better with black tea"

    L (4/5)

    Comfort in a mug

"This is one of my go to evening comfort brews. Very morish. Tastes like nothing else. . . . has to be tried to be known. I have this on subscription as I can't let it run out."

    Rachel (5/5)

    Worth a Rebrew

"On the first brew the cinnamon flavour is what came thorough the most, but on the second (a tad lower temperature) it was more fruit forward, so it was like two drinks in one teaspoon"
