"I will preface this by saying I have never previously found an issue with this company - i adore the matcha and tea i purchase. The toffee apple one, no matter how i prepare it (hot or cold) unfortunately, there is only a note of cinnamon. There is no matcha taste or toffee/caramel vibes. It’s fragrant but when you sip, there is only a cinnamon taste which is very watery. This is despite me putting a bit more matcha, subbing water out for different milk etc. I don’t like to put up negative reviews but this one has missed the mark for me - sorry!"

Love this matcha

"I really love BandB matcha and this is one my faves. Makes such a cosy matcha latte in my matcha whisk. The flavour is great & I love that the lower matcha content means I can drink it in the afternoon & evening without a big dose of caffeine."

Very grainy!

"This is probably my least favourite matcha alongside the Hello Kitty one. Both have a major issue with the powder not dissolving properly, no matter how much you try and whisk it. I’m a fan of Bird and Blend teas, but this one left me disappointed."

Delicious

"This matcha is sweet and comforting, you get the toffee apple flavour without muting the taste of the matcha underneath. I recommend as an iced matcha as I think the flavour really shines that way but it's v warm and cosy as a hot matcha latte as well!"

Wanted to love it but….

"I was so looking forward to this and it smells amazing but I can’t get it to dissolve properly and it’s really grainy. It the first Bird & Blend I’ve had this issue with. Don’t know if it’s the flavour additives but it doesn’t look like other matchas I’ve had and it doesn’t taste good to me. 😞 Very disappointed"

Spicey Apple, Nice Warm but grainy

"Struggled a bit with this one heavily spiced flavour profile with a slight apple after taste, nice warm as a latte but i couldnt get it to dissolve not sure if because of the rooibos so left with a very grainy tea half way down not sure if it needs a finer strainer."

"As someone who needs light caffeine, this has been a game changer. I get energy without jitters and this proportion of matcha is perfect for me. I so hope this stays as it has made matcha a staple for me (before, I was making half or quarter portions!). The taste is gorgeous - like a delicious apple pie, to me. Highly recommend to everyone. I just have it with soy milk and it’s perfect for me, but you could make it sweeter with a caramel syrup or something."

Perfect for autumn

"One of my favourite matchas, perfect flavour for autumn! I hope this becomes a regular tea in the cosy collection. Just mix extra well as the rooibos doesn't combine aswell as plain matcha The best apple matcha they have!"
