    How to make matcha 4 ways

    How to make a hot matcha

    • Step 1

      1/2 tsp

      Step 2

      Add splash of 80° water

    • bamboo matcha whisking step

      Step 3

      Whisk in a 'W' shape until frothy

    • Step 4

      Top up with hot water or milk

    How to make an iced matcha

    Like a caramely chocolate drink !

    This matcha was Lovely ! Even though it didn’t have any matcha taste, it was like drinking an iced chocolate drink with a hint of caramel ! Regarding the colour after wisking the powder, it looked like Hojisha ! I had it with barista coconut milk, and it was very nice !

    Not as advertised

    I purchased a tin of this yesterday from their physical shop, however the colour looked brown when I opened it and it tasted like dishwater. I had it in the advent calander and it was lovely, but this time it didn't taste or look like matcha at all. The salted caramel on their website says it has 80 % matcha in it, but on the tin I had it said there was only 48 % matcha. I don't know if the shop sold me an old batch or if they've changed their recipe, but it's now more cocoa than actual matcha.
