    How to make a hot tea?

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 4+ mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea?

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    "This is probably my favourite rooibos blend from Bird & Blend. The custard flavour in particular is so authentic to real vanilla custard. Often rooibos is highly spiced and is therefore best for autumn/winter, but this one is great all year round."

The calorie content of all of our teas after the brewing process is lower than needs to be declared on a food label, even the blends with whole fruit pieces and candy hearts. None of our blends have any more than 1g sugar excluding our Sticky Chai as this contains honey. I hope this helps. Andi @ B&B

    Is it safe to drink this tea while pregnant?
    Hi! We aren't medical professionals, so we can't tell you for sure if a tea is safe to consume whilst pregnant; you are best chatting to your midwife or GP for anything related to this.     Does this tea contain any sugar or artificial sweeteners?
    Hi Emily, Thank you so much for your question! This blend has no added sugar, we only have a few blends that actually have sugars intentionally added. When we intentionally add sugar it will only be for the purpose of enhancing a flavour that may be too tart if left unsweetened. You can check out those blends on our Allergens page (scroll down a little to the 'Containing Sugar' section) With regards to the exact amount of sugar in any particular blend, this is not information that we have to hand as we do not test currently test our blends for this. Any blends that have naturally occurring sugars will only have trace amounts though. We certainly don't claim to be medical professionals and we would always recommend seeking advice from your doctor if you have any concerns.
