originally a fav but now tastes rancid
the vanilla in my second bag has taken on such a pronounced sour note that is prominent as soon as you open the bag and inescapable no matter how it's brewed. my first lot of it was not like this, and this bag was fine in the first few months - but the bag itself, while still sealing properly, has a lot of air bubbles in the two layers that make up the inner and outer layers and i wonder if that has been a contributing factor?

In terms of the pouch, this can occasionally happen, but please rest assured there’s no cause for concern. Our packaging is fully home compostable and made from paper and plant-based materials such as eucalyptus and corn starch. It will naturally break down into CO₂, water, and biomass.
Some of the natural oils in our blends can occasionally interact with the inner lining of the pouch, but this won't affect the quality or taste of the tea inside.
