    Reviews

    nice tea

"I tried the Creme Brulee Tea and really enjoyed it. The tea has a smooth and creamy flavor with a rich caramel aroma that reminds me of freshly torched crème brûlée. The sweetness is balanced nicely, so it doesn’t taste overpowering. It’s comforting, fragrant, and perfect for an afternoon treat or a relaxing evening drink. Definitely a great choice if you like dessert-inspired teas."

My favourite of all the Bird and Blend teas

"I absolutely love Creme Brulee. My partner bought some bags for me for Xmas a few years back and the addiction started! I have to have a cup every day, it is so smooth and velvety, and a sniff of my tin in the morning is just divine before brewing. I am a loyal Creme Brulee tea drinker, my favourite Bird and Blend tea!"

    Jenny A. (5/5)

Love the tea but not so much the tin

"Creme Brulee is delicious with oat milk (made like a 'latte') and is definitely one of my favourites. However, the lid is quite loose on the tin. So, I have to store the tin carefully so it does not get knocked over in the cupboard. The tin is a nice size though."

    Sara G. (4/5)

    Mid

"It smells nice but tastes basically like normal tea. I also really don't appreciate that the sales associate asked for my email ostensibly for my reward account but signed me up for a million spam emails in the process without my consent. Makes me less likely to shop here again, sort it out bird and blend."

    Sophie B. (1/5)

    Soft as butterfly wings

"Now THIS is tea. Good loose leaf black tea without stems or wood. It smells divine, tastes no where near as strong, but better than some of the others. It is mild, but not weak. Its sweet, but not overly. Its soft and comforting. Have it with afternoon tea. Oh yes!"

    Verity (5/5)

    My staple

"I've been drinking Creme Brulee since before the name change. It was my original replacement staple from another tea companies blend that is named the same thing. It is a good beginners introduction to loose leaf tea for newbies."

    Robert (5/5)

    Sweet treat

"I love the Crème Brûlée. It’s a sweet treat without any sugar added. I like to add some milk and it’s like sipping dessert."

    Merrilee T. (5/5)

Delicious black tea with a hint of vanilla

"This is perfect for a smooth black tea in the morning. The vanilla is subtle but complements the tea"

    Camilla (5/5)

    Creme Brulee

"Strong black tea taste, without enough “creme brulee” flavor."

    Mariana V. (2/5)

    Smells incredible

"Unfortunately I think the taste of this one doesn’t quite live up to the smell - which is absolutely incredible! It’s a nice tea, but I can’t taste much of the creme brûlée notes"

    Q&A

    Does this tea contain carbs?
Hi there, great question! This is not information that we have to hand as we do not test currently test our blends for this. Any blends that have naturally occurring carbohydrates will only have trace amounts though. Ian @ B&B
Hello, is there a caffeine free version of the butter brew , I’d love to try it but I can’t do caffeine ☹️
Hello, Thank you for your question! There is no direct caffeine free alternative to Butter Brew for I'd recommend checking out our Rooibos tea range which are all teas with red labels! We have some great flavours that are all Caffeine Free. Some of my personal caffeine free favourites are Birthday Cake, Banana Bread Chai and Apple Strudel! For some more personalised help with finding the right blend for you please do give us a call on 01273 325523 or drop us an email via info@birdandblendtea.com Rhi @ B&B
Want some help! Not sure if I'm getting it wrong to water and tea ratio I've tried more of a heaped teaspoon even a tad more , less water and frothy milk but I'm not seeming to get much of a flavour?unless I'm using too much milk?
Hello, Thank you for getting in touch! For Butter Brew, I love to follow this recipe on our UniversiTEA blog to make a latte: https://www.birdandblendtea.com/blogs/recipes/spiced-pumpkin-latte?_pos=1&_psq=Spiced%20Pumpkin%20&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Although it is for Spiced Pumpkin Pie, it works with any blend! Just switch out the tea and sweetener to suit your preference. I hope that helps get the most flavour out of your brew, but if you continue to have trouble please reach out to us at info@birdandblendtea.com and we can help you further! Happy sipping! Lizzie @ B&B
How much would you use for each person serving please
Its personal taste rally but we always use our perfect tea spoons which is a good heaped ordinary tea spoon - so I'd say start there! Andi @ B&B
