    Introducing Bird & Blend's Builder's Brew (BBB! also known as Triple B.), our strongest breakfast tea. Fantastic with your fry up, perfect with a cheeky sausage roll (vegan or not!) and suitable for shaking the frost off those brisk British northern mornings. This blend of CTC (cut, tear, curl) leaves creates a cup that packs a palatable punch, which so many people enjoy!

    How to make a hot tea?

    • perfect loose leaf tea spoon

      Step 1

      1 tsp

    • tea brewing temperature

      Step 2

      Boil water to 100°

    • tea brewing time

      Step 3

      Wait 2-4 mins

    • hot cup of tea

      Step 4

      With or without milk

    How to cold brew tea?

    • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

      Step 1

      Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

    • Add cold water

      Step 2

      Add 750ml cold water

    • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

      Step 3

      Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

    • Enjoy over ice.

      Step 4

      Pour over ice & enjoy!

    Builders tea?

    A pot of this tea is a perfect kick start to your day.

    A full flavoured dark tea you can really taste, strong bold but cultured.

    I feel it is best with very little or no milk added.

    Can be quite refreshing with a good squeeze of lemon.

    However I find the name builder’s tea doesn’t really do it justice, and might put some people off trying it, especially if my memory of tea on a building site is anything to go by! However that was nearly 50 years ago whilst at university.

    A good strong cuppa

    Really enjoyed this tea and expertly chosen for me by Andi, when I got in touch for some help, I still needed an extra spoon of leaves though for my perfect morning wake up!
