    A stellar replacement for an old favourite

    "Growing up, I had a chocolate mint oolong tea that I always took to Girl Guide camp with me. It was great: perfect mix of mint and sweet and a little bit of acridity. The mint kept it from being too sweet to feel well in the car, and the chocolate made it un and a little bit more warming/energetic for the outdoor expenditure. Since this is rooibos, it's great to not have to worry about caffeine content, especially when pregnant/breastfeeding. However, since it's rooibos, it is mellower than the oolong without the same bite, so I do find it overall a bit sweeter and more cloying, and it can become metallic if I let it steep as long as the oolong used to. While it's not quite as versatile, I do still really enjoy this one, and was absolutely elated to be able to stock it as my ancient imported stocks ran dry."

    Hi, does this tea have any calories?
    Hi there, thanks so much for asking! The calorie content of all of our teas after the brewing process is lower than needs to be declared on a food label, even the blends with whole fruit pieces and candy hearts. None of our blends have any more than 1g sugar and many have only a trace. Ian @ B&B
    What is the shelf life of the tea pouches?
    Hi there, you should find a stamp on the pouch somewhere, or a label stating the BBE date of the tea, but generally it's around 18 months. So long as you keep the tea in an airtight container, out of direct sun light, you should be good to drink it, but after that, it could start to lose its flavour. Happy Sipping! Ian @ B&B

    Hi there! All our blends are different! This one is a rooibos and Peppermint Hot Cocoa is a Herbal Blend! :) However, these guys are definitely in a similar ball park! I think you'll love it! I also have to recommend Peppermint Cream! Trust me! Neve @ B&B
