"The presentation and thickness of the egg did impress and knowing how good quality other Bird & Blend products are, I thought this would be a winner. First off, my fault, but didn't realise that it was vegan. Im not vegan and as someone else said, the lack of any type of milk, affected its consistency. It wasn't like any kind of Easter egg I have eaten before. I found the egg dry and left an aftertaste. Disappointing."
Dark chocolate
"I was looking forward to this egg so much, as Banana Bred Chai is one of my favourite blends, but sadly all I can taste is dark chocolate. There's a very slight cardamon smell to it, but just tastes like plain dark chocolate, so I was sadly very disappointed. Actually haven't been able to finish it because it was such a disappointing taste. Maybe I can brew some banana bread chai and melt the chocolate in it for a hot chocolate instead"
I wanted so badly to like this!
"The banana bread chai is my favourite, but sadly this egg didn’t do it for me. There was an unpleasant grittiness to the chocolate - I guess those were bits of tea, and I found the combo of flavours just a bit bitter / too intense. I think perhaps if it had been milk (or plant milk!) chocolate that might have saved it (I always drink my chai with oat milk). As it was, this was not a winner in our house, despite my excitement on opening the box."
