VICKY'S SPONGE CAKE - BLACK TEA
We know there is nothing better than a cuppa and cake (except perhaps a cake flavoured cuppa!) but did you know it was our good old queenie Victoria who invented the Vicky Sponge? Guess the name gives it away a bit! She loved taking afternoon tea with her home girls but decided they needed some extra nourishment to last until dinner. Cake it is then! We like your thinking QV!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: Try this tea with coconut milk to bring out the coconut in the blend!
HOT CROSS BUN - ROOIBOS TEA
At Easter time there are few things better than the aroma of currants, cinnamon and freshly baked buns wafting across the kitchen, so here you have it – Hot Cross Bun tea! Don’t say we don’t treat you every now and again!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: This brew is great hot, with or without milk for a slightly smoky, sweet treat. We also enjoy it cold brewed in lemonade!
CREAM EGG - BLACK TEA
Is there anything that says Easter better than these little egg-shaped bundles of fondant-y, chocolate-y joy?! We've taken the nation's favourite Easter treat & given it a tea twist... in classic B&B style! Our version is vegan & sugar free too!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: This blend makes the ulTEAmate tea latte, we top it with whipped cream, cocoa powder & a chocolate egg.
LADY LAVENDER - BLACK TEA
Behind all great men there is always an even greater woman and there was no exception with the Grey family. Whilst the Earl was gallivanting around the House of Lords, good old Mrs Grey raised his sixteen children! We reckon she is well overdue a relaxing tea break with her very own blend of Lavender tea.
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: Add a dash of creamy oat milk for a full-bodied tea fit for royalty!
BUILDER'S BREAKFAST BREW - BLACK TEA
Introducing Bird & Blend's Builder's Brew (BBB!), our strongest breakfast tea. Fantastic with your fry up, perfect with a Paddington (marmalade on toast, obviously!) and suitable for shaking the frost off those brisk British northern mornings. This blend of CTC (cut, tear, curl) leaves creates a cup that packs a palatable punch!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: This tea has been specifically designed to enjoy with your favourite milk.
THE DIGESTER - OOLONG TEA
The Digester tea has been developed with happy tummies in mind! Containing super lovely ingredients like oolong, ginger, fennel & ginseng - this tea is great for when you need a little refresh as the name suggests!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: I'm best without milk so you get the full benefit of my ingredients.
LEMON & GINGER - HERBAL TEA
The brief: create THE best lemon & ginger tea in the world. The answer: this incredibly juicy lemon myrtle blend with just the right balance of fiery ginger root. All naturally caffeine free too!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: Try me iced or cold brewed in lemonade in one of our wonderful!
RHUBARB & CUSTARD - ROOIBOS TEA
Hardy British super fruit, much loved vintage cartoon characters, top boiled sweet and crumble of the gods... Rhubarb & Custard really is a pairing made in heaven. This naturally caffeine free, antioxidant rich blend will satisfy your sweet tooth with no less than 1 calorie p/cup! Sounds like a super sweet deal to us!
Tea Mixologist Top Tip: Amazing hot - especially if you use frothy milk and a raspberry drizzle on top! Or try me cold brewed in your favourite milk.
