How to make a hot tea

  • tea brewing temperature

    Boil water to 100°

  • tea brewing time

    Step 3

    Wait 2-4 mins

  • hot cup of tea

    With or without milk

How to cold brew tea

  • loose leaf tea in cold brew tea bottle

    Step 1

    Scoop 5-6 tsp into a bottle

  • Add cold water

    Step 2

    Add 750ml cold water

  • refrigerate for 4-6 hours

    Step 3

    Leave 4-6 hrs or overnight

  • Enjoy over ice.

    Step 4

    Pour over ice & enjoy!

Omg this is delicious!

"I was looking forward to this tea arriving. The cute moomin tin caddy is adorable and as soon as I opend the lid the wonderful smell of cinnamon hit me. The taste is not overpowering, but definitely cinnamon with hints of sweet caramel and subtle clove. I like to drink mine with oat milk which gives it a delicious smooth creamy flavour. Excellent quality tea as always from B&B and also excellent value for money as it works out just shy of 30p per cup! I will definitely be buying more, but it would be great if a refill option was available. As much as I love the caddy i don't really need more than one :p"

"The tea is really lovely. It is spiced and warm and fruity. Feels moonin-y. Works beautifully with or without milk. I’d actually be happy having this instead of hot chocolate. I love the moomins and the tin is joyous to have in the kitchen. Would love for this blend to be permanent!"

"Love the tin, love the smell , love the flavour . I’m surprised by how much it tastes like cinnamon buns. I’m not normally too keen on spiced tea, but the cinnamon isn’t over powering. Only complaint is I was the label came off as it feels weird refilling the tin with other flavoured teas later on. But not knocking off a star for that"

"Delicious - this is my new favourite black tea blend from Bird & Blend, I hope it stays in circulation. The cinnamon is not overpowering, though obviously you have to like cinnamon to enjoy it. It's not too sweet or too spicy."

comfort in a drink

"i love this tea so much more than i thought i would, it’s very well balanced and the huge chunks of cinnamon stick in it were surprising. it’s warm, spicy and smooth and it smells so strong that when brewing it makes my home smell like i’ve lit a wax burner! i’ve been enjoying it with brown sugar to get that real cinnamon bun taste, but it’s nice with just oat milk, it’s almost bitter because of the clove but manages to stay well balanced! the bonus is that the tin is very cute too. i’m so sad this is limited edition, it’s definitely one of my new favourites teas (of all time, not just from bird and blend). if you like chai, i would definitely give this a try"

Cute tin but overpowering clove

"I love the tin, but unfortunately the clove is overpowering in the blend and makes it bitter. I have tried it both hot and cold, reducing the amount of tea/the brew time and it still is too bitter. Maybe would be okay if you were adding honey or lemonade. I tried a cold brew with lemonade and mint and it was better but still bitter"

Smells strong but brews gently

"I loved this! I think it still verges on the berry side a tad too much for me, but it’s still gourmand enough for me to keep coming back to it. The tin lid can be a little difficult to take on and off, so I squeeze the sides very gently to make it easier. The scent of the tea when it’s brewed is bang on cinnamon rolls."
