Containing real chocolate drops, heaps of warming spices and whole coffee beans, this blend is a brilliant balance. Who knew that coffee and tea could combine so well? Wonderful as a chocolatey chai latte.
In a classic B&B twist, we've blended both traditional Assam black tea & the brightest, most flavourful of teas from Rwanda into this blend -Ā so it tastes good, looks good & does good too.Ā
The tea is carefully sourced from Rutsiro, a garden we are proudly working with to support impact projects that transform lives in the local community. By choosing Mocha Chai, you are helping to fund vital projects for Rwandan tea pluckers, their families & young children.

Good but didn't get the mocha flavour. . . .
"Had a tea stop at your Bluewater store and this was on the 'bucket list' of teas to try so decided to have a go. It is pleasant enough, smooth, deep and dark as a mocha should be, hints of sweetness were present but I'm not sure I could have clearly identified Mocha in a blind taste testing. Chai spices come through but one (Cardamom?) was a bit too strong and overpowered the other flavours. Good but not amazing."
The best bits of both coffee and chai!
"I don't enjoy coffee very much, but this was lovely. It had a very indulgent toasty flavor, with an aftertaste of chocolate and chai. The chocolate is more subtle but works well to balance out the bitterness of the coffee, making it a very rich but not too sweet drink/ It looks like you get less because of the coffee beans taking up most of the weight but this one came out to 10 teaspoons for me, so it does fit the description of the 20g bags. That said since the coffee and cocoa is heavy, I would recommend mixing up the loose leaves before you have a drink to make sure you get a bit of everything in there. I had mine as a latte with oat milk."

"This one is tasty but it doesn't brew very strong in colour, which means when you add milk it looks pretty washed out. The black tea taste is quite weak too. It's easy to overbrew and gets very bitter when you do."

- Hi I would just like to know how many grams I should use in a mug please? I use 1 and a half teaspoons and it's not that strong.
- Hi Tara! The general guidance is 1 tsp per serving, but if you like your tea stronger, feel free to add as much as achieves your desired strength! We have customers who add as much as 5g! Anna @ B&B
- Do the coffee beans in this mean it's higher in caffeine than a regular black tea?

- What is the calorie content please?
- Hello Deborah, I hope you are well and thank you for your question. The calorie content of all of our teas after the brewing process is lower than needs to be declared on a food label, even the blends with whole fruit pieces and candy hearts.
